Words of Comfort for the family
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday, November 12, 2007 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tripoli, Iowa with Pastor Michael Wagnitz officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Toledo, Iowa. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home in New Hampton and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Elsie Mae (Mowery) Reinhard, youngest daughter of Edward A. and Mary Adelia (Munson) Mowery, was born July 29, 1915 on a farm near Toledo, Iowa in Howard Township of Tama County where she grew up, attended country schools and graduate from Toledo High School in 1933. On December 20, 1935, Elsie was united in marriage to Ward M Reinhard. After their marriage, they moved to rural Ionia where they bought a farm. They attended the services of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waverly and after the church burned, a new church was built in Tripoli which they attended. Elsie was a homemaker and helped with the farming. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, baking and helping with church sales. She was a kind and loving person and will be greatly missed. Elsie is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mary Mowery, her husband Ward who died on December 2, 1984 and one sister Mildred Faulconer of Chariton, Iowa. Left to remember her are two nephews Fred Faulconer and wife Alta of Jacksonville, Florida and Walter Faulconer and wife Caroline of Chariton, Iowa; beloved close friends Yvonne Wente and husband Paul, Dollinda Horsley and husband John and James Schafer and wife Gale and their families and many friends. |
